All of us are hoping against hope for the pandemic to subside so we could go out again, bask in the sunlight, inhale copious amounts of fresh air, and roam around some greenery. It’s been quite some time since we had a look at the outside world!
However, for the people of Cuttack, Orissa, a gorgeous surprise is awaiting! The city’s streets have been splashed with colours and beautiful artwork which are a treat to the eyes.
Yes, Cuttack has undergone a massive and stunning makeover and the once dull streets are now brimming with colours! The paintings capture Cuttack’s love for music, cinema, photography, and various dance forms Ghoda Nacha, Paika Nrutya, and Odissi. Have a look:

This city is getting a much needed makeover thanks to @CMCCuttack, @AnanyaDasIAS and @Odishamining. pic.twitter.com/3CAJKCK54t
This theme among all murals is personally my favourite.Called "Humans of Cuttack",it aims to depict what is so special about the city- the people itself and the city's street food culture. So happy to see the artists translating what was imagined into what is real @Odishamining https://t.co/XU3zztDwIB— Ananya Das (@AnanyaDasIAS) July 19, 2020
I cannot help but feel jealous of the people of Cuttack because they are in for a visual treat!
